Applications of honeycomb activated carbon?
- 1. Industrial VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) Abatement (Primary Application)
Used in paint booths, coating workshops, printing plants, furniture factories, electronics manufacturing facilities, and chemical plants. It adsorbs volatile organic compounds—such as benzene, toluene, xylene, and ethyl acetate—from industrial exhaust streams.
- 2. Industrial Odor Control
Used in wastewater treatment plants, waste transfer stations, livestock farms, and food processing plants to adsorb malodorous gases like hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. Water-resistant versions are suitable for high-humidity exhaust streams or for use downstream of gas-scrubbing towers.
- 3. Air Purification
Used in central air conditioning/fresh air ventilation systems, laboratories, hospitals, and office buildings to remove formaldehyde and odors; functions as a filter medium within air purification units.
- 4. Flue Gas Treatment
Used for flue gas from boilers and incinerators to adsorb dioxins, mercury, and a portion of sulfur dioxide (SO₂).

Used for advanced wastewater treatment, aquarium filtration, and the removal of odors or color from circulating water systems. (Note: Standard honeycomb activated carbon is primarily intended for gas-phase applications.)
