Yuncheng Coconut Shell Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) is a fine-powder adsorbent manufactured from coconut shell-based raw materials. It is used in adsorption and purification processes where fine particles allow close contact with the treated liquid or other process media.

Available grades may differ in iodine value, methylene blue adsorption value, particle size, ash content, moisture content, and pH. The appropriate grade should be selected according to the target contaminants, process conditions, and required treatment performance.

Methylene‑blue test follows the test procedure of GB/T 12496.10‑1999 (originally for wood‑based activated carbon). No dedicated ASTM standard for methylene‑blue value of activated carbon.

Application

Drinking‑Water Purification:Remove residual chlorine, trace organics, musty odor and micro‑pollutants for tap‑water treatment. Low‑ash grade is recommended for potable‑water projects.
Liquid Purification: Removal of selected impurities from compatible liquid streams.
Decolorization: Treatment of selected liquids containing color-causing substances, where the grade is suitable.
Odor Control: Adsorption of selected odor-causing compounds under appropriate operating conditions.
Specialized Adsorption Applications: Other applications subject to grade-specific technical requirements.
