Yuncheng Coal-Based Powdered Activated Carbon is a fine-powder adsorbent manufactured from coal-based raw materials. It is designed for adsorption applications where rapid contact between the adsorbent and the treated liquid or gas is required.

Available grades can vary in particle fineness, iodine value, methylene blue adsorption value, ash content, and other properties. The appropriate grade should be selected according to the target contaminants, process conditions, and required treatment performance.

Note: No dedicated ASTM standard for methylene blue value of activated carbon. This test follows GB/T 7702.6-2008.

Application

Drinking water purification:Emergency removal of taste, odor, organic contaminants in tap‑water treatment for seasonal water quality shock events.(Note: Select low‑ash grade for potable‑water projects.)
Industrial Water treatment:Remove COD, heavy‑metal ions, chroma and humic substances. Suitable for printing‑dyeing wastewater and PACT biological treatment processes.
Flue gas treatment:Dry‑spray dosing for flue‑gas de‑odoring and organic pollutant removal.
Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Odor Control:Odor abatement for garbage incineration plant exhaust gas.
Industrial Liquid Decolorization:Decolorization for acidic industrial liquid streams.

Note: Powdered activated carbon is mostly applied for single‑use dosing, not suitable for fixed‑bed adsorption towers; choose pellet/granular activated carbon for tower‑based continuous adsorption.
